James Rodriguez Nominated For 2015 Laureus World Breakthrough Award

Real Madrid star midfielder and Colombian World Cup 2014 hero James Rodriguez, has nominated for Laureus World Breakthrough 2014 award after his dominating performance in FIFA World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup. He is also the winner of Puskas award and FIFA Golden Boot.

2014 was very successful for him from every aspect of football career. Firstly he scored six goals in World Cup and helped his team to play semifinal in Brazil, then he won Golden Boot.

After World Cup Spanish giant Real Madrid approached him and, landed James from Monaco to Santiago at record transfer fee of £64m.

At Real Madrid he became key player in midfield, always helped team in creating chances of scoring. Currently James has created most chances (49) for Madrid in La Liga. Also he scored 12 times and assisted 10 times in overall competition this season for Real Madrid.

James is now suffering with injury and would available for team after 2 months.


Real Madrid are also nominated for Laureus World Team of the Year and his team mate Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year Award.
