Manchester United Transfer News- Reds Are Keen To Sign Real Madrid Goalkeeper Keylor Navas

Kaylor Navas

According to Spanish newspaper MARCA, Manchester United coach Louis Van Gaal tried to sign Costa Rican goalkeeper Kaylor Navas, during last summer transfer window.

Marca also claim that Real Madrid arch rivals Barcelona were also impressed with Kaylor Navas, due to his outstanding form with gloves during FIFA World Cup 2014 at Brazil.

Reds boss has already made an effort to sign Navas in summer, but he was late in conversation with his agent, as a deal was already agreed with European Champions Real Madrid.

28 year old Costa Rican has played 60 games for his national side and made 46 appearances for ex-club Levante, but he got only 2 chances for Santiago Bernabeu side. In presence of Iker Casillas, he has not managed to fight, to become first choice in Ancelotti starting 11.

David De Gea

As per reports, Manchester United may try again to land their target, but it seems unlikely to happen with the recent signing of Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes at free transfer fee.

There is also rumour that present United shot stopper, David De Gea wants to leave Old Trafford, but it is not looking to favour Navas as Valdes is already present, unless he will not regain his old form.
